​Myia earned her Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Board Certified National Certified Counselor (NCC) who has been in the field of chemical dependency and mental health for over 5 years. She currently operates a private practice in Boca Raton, FL with some of her specialities including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and addiction. Myia has comprehensive experience in the treatment industry with areas of focus in both clinical therapy and utilization review services. She has worked with facilities across the country such as Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Hawaii, California, Virginia, and many more providing UR services and clinical documentation training. She has extensive experience working directly with insurance companies to obtain authorizations.
